Dr.Club: frequently asked questions

Dr.Club is an AI content platform that helps doctors and other healthcare professionals plan, write and publish social media posts. These are the questions doctors and hospital IT reviewers ask most often. Answers are kept deliberately plain, including the uncomfortable ones.

What is Dr.Club?

Dr.Club is a web-based AI content platform for doctors and other healthcare professionals. You tell it your specialty, your target audience and your goals; it builds a personalised social media strategy, then generates post copy and images you can publish by copy-paste or by connecting your LinkedIn, X (Twitter) or Facebook account. Connecting Instagram and Threads is coming soon. Dr.Club is operated by DrClub LLC, a Delaware limited liability company.

Is Dr.Club HIPAA compliant, and can I enter patient information?

No, and no. Dr.Club is a marketing tool, not a medical device, not an electronic health record system, and not a telehealth platform. It is not designed to comply with HIPAA, with GDPR health-data processing requirements, or with KVKK health-data requirements. Entering Protected Health Information (PHI), patient names, conditions or diagnostic images into Dr.Club is expressly prohibited by our Terms of Use. Use Dr.Club the way you would use a design tool for a waiting-room poster: for general, non-patient-specific professional content only.

Does Dr.Club store patient data?

No. Dr.Club stores your professional profile (such as your specialty, target audience and content goals), the content you generate, your social media connection tokens, and your usage and billing records. It has no patient records, no PHI fields and no clinical data model. Our Terms of Use prohibit entering patient data, and you remain responsible for the content you type into any prompt.

Which social networks can Dr.Club post to?

Dr.Club connects to LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook. Instagram and Threads are coming soon: you can already write posts for them in Dr.Club and publish them yourself by copy-paste. On the PRO plan you can connect your LinkedIn, X and Facebook accounts and publish or schedule directly from Dr.Club. On the free trial and the Basic plan you generate the content in Dr.Club and publish it yourself by copy-paste.

Is the content medically reviewed before I get it?

No. Content is generated by AI for marketing and general educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, and it is not reviewed by a clinician before it reaches you. As the licensed professional, you are responsible for reviewing, fact-checking and confirming the medical accuracy and regulatory compliance of every post before you publish it. Dr.Club provides compliance tips as guidance, not as legal or regulatory sign-off.

What does Dr.Club cost?

Basic is $4.99 per month and includes social media strategy and compliance tips, 5 AI post creations per month and 17 AI credits per month. PRO is $14.99 per month and adds unlimited AI post creation, 100 AI credits per month, social media account connection, and post scheduling and analytics. A COMMUNITY plan at $99.99 per month is announced but not yet available for purchase. It adds 200 AI credits per month, AI video and podcast generation, an analytics dashboard and patient education content. New users get a 30-day free trial with up to 17 AI credits and 5 post creations.

Can I cancel Dr.Club at any time?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. You keep access to paid features through the end of the billing period you have already paid for. Subscription fees are not refundable except where refunds are required by applicable law.

Which AI models does Dr.Club use, and where does my data go?

Dr.Club generates text and images using Google's Gemini models. The professional context you provide, such as your specialty, practice focus and target audience, is sent to Google so it can personalise your content, along with your weekly plan, the words you type and any image you upload to edit. If automatic weekly posts are on, this also happens every Monday to make your weekly posts. We never ask for patient data, and you should not type or upload any. Google does not use what we send to improve its products. Our full sub-processor list, covering hosting, database, AI, payments and analytics, is published in our Privacy Policy.

Can my hospital's compliance or IT team review Dr.Club before I use it?

Yes, and we recommend it. Everything a reviewer normally asks for is published: our security summary at drclub.com/security lists the domains your network needs to allow and how data is protected, our Privacy Policy lists every sub-processor and every retention period, and our Terms of Use state plainly that the platform must never receive PHI. Dr.Club is a browser-based tool served over HTTPS from www.drclub.com, so there is nothing to install on a hospital workstation.

What happens to my data if I delete my Dr.Club account?

You can request an export of your personal data in JSON or CSV by emailing privacy@drclub.com before, or within 30 days of, closing your account. After you delete your account we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records for legal, tax or regulatory reasons. If you disconnect a social media account, the stored access tokens for it are deleted immediately and any posts still scheduled for that account are cancelled.

Who owns the posts Dr.Club generates?

You keep all rights to the raw inputs you provide. When you generate content through Dr.Club you receive a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use, modify and publish that specific generated content for your professional marketing. DrClub LLC retains rights to the platform itself and its branding.

Do I need to be a licensed doctor to use Dr.Club?

Dr.Club is built for doctors and other healthcare professionals, and onboarding asks for your medical specialty so the content it generates matches your field.

Can I use Dr.Club to create patient education content?

You can generate general educational posts today: the kind of explainer content you would already post publicly to your own audience. A dedicated Patient Education Content feature is listed on the COMMUNITY plan, which is announced but not yet available. Nothing Dr.Club generates is medical advice, and nothing it generates should be given to an identified patient as clinical guidance.

How is Dr.Club different from a general AI writing tool?

A general writing tool starts from a blank prompt. Dr.Club starts from your professional profile: it builds a content strategy for your specialty and audience first, then generates posts that fit that strategy, adds matching images, layers in compliance tips for medical social media, and publishes or schedules them to your connected accounts. The medical-marketing context is built in rather than something you re-explain in every prompt.
